Right,
deep breath, here we go!
I
draw or paint an original digital artwork which is then added to my gallery. You
see it in my online gallery and say wouldn’t that look nice on our lounge wall!
Well
what could be easier? Instead of purchasing online an original drawing or painting,
paying for it, then waiting for it to be packed up and shipped to your home
address. Why not purchase original artwork that can be sent to you attached to
an email for you to print yourself or send the image file to an artwork
reproduction services specialist easily found on the internet to have
reproduced as a beautiful print in the size you want and in a frame of your
choice (not all artwork reproduction services offer a framing service).
Now I said earlier that you can print the artwork yourself. Now if you are like me you print photographs of family and friend or holidays. Mostly you will print these pictures on to photographic printer paper. Well, guess what, you can print my original artwork on to that sort of paper too.
The printer does not matter if it is Inkjet or Laser as long it is a colour printer which prints good photographs as most printers now days do. The printer can be A4 (the most popular size), A3 or bigger.
I mentioned using photographic printer paper which is available, often from your local supermarket, in Matt, Satin and Gloss finishes but if you go online you will find an array of printer media to fit your printer in anything from watercolour paper to real cotton canvases. These give the artwork that extra touch of realism.
Now let’s talk about getting your nice new artwork reproduced by an artwork reproduction services specialist. There are loads of these companies online offering such services as Giclee printing which is a common method of reproducing digital artwork for wall hanging. Some of these companies have offices in larger towns so you do not have to use the internet if you don’t want to. All you have to do is copy the image file onto a memory stick or SD card and take it with you to the artwork reproduction retail outlet.
These online companies offer many services and once again can reproduce the artwork on various different surfaces, as mentioned above, like watercolour paper, canvas and more in finished sizes to suit your room or display sight.
Another option is to have the artwork reproduced as a poster. Once again you will find many companies online offer this service printing posters in various size like A1, A2, A3 and A4.
A
quirky option is to have the artwork printed on to a Tee shirt. How trendy is
that wearing a bespoke printed Tee shirt that no one else has!
Any way I hope I have given you some good ideas on what you can do once you have purchased my original artwork.
